Here's a mad idea 06:28 - Feb 6 with 1442 views

We've lost burns and ogbene and have no high right winger who's right-footed.

What if we do the exact opposite and play with a high left-footed left winger. Leif becomes wes burns. Then you'd have to do the opposite to what we currently do with full backs. The right-sided full back needs to overlap and the left needs to stay home like tuanzebe does now. Johnson right back, greaves left back, which gives us a good excuse to play cam burgess next to o'shea again.

I know he became an inverted winger when he went to Sunderland. But he's right footed and he's done that role before quite well.

That then enables philogene and broady to rotate that left side 10 role.

He had a very bad cameo against Southampton did our philogene but thought he looked less bad on the right at the end than on the left. Can tell he still needs loads of playing time to get used to players around him as twice he was so slow to react to situations that could have both lead to goals, was he more aware. The slow back pass to the goalkeeper, he didn’t look like he was sprinting at full pelt to try and intercept or put the goal keeper off, and Hutchinson back heel in the area he was slow to read it meaning defended got a toe in first, if he as quicker then it would have been him first and tripped by defender for a pen. Hopefully he will do well for us.
