What happened to Norwich City? 08:52 - Feb 14 with 4198 views | NthQldITFC | I heard on the news that the ex-Forest Korean striker Hwang has received a suspended sentence for his voyeurism offences and remembered that he had been at Norwich on loan. Not sure if they sent him back because of the offences or because he was useless for them, and no suggestion that they knew about it when they loaned him. Had a look on the OinkUn for any comments about it, and I see that they're talking about a retrospective ban for one of their defenders who broke a Preston player's leg at the weekend with a vicious tackle from behind. Their captain also got a retrospective ban (or two?) recently for elbowing a young opponent in the throat, and the not-so-likeable Sainz is currently banned for spitting on an opponent. I think they also had to cancel their major sponsorship contract with a gambling firm who were using porn to advertise their services. (Or was it a porn firm who were using gambling to advertise their services?) Notwithstanding our rivalry (and my admittedly childish dislike of them), they seem to have gone from being an inoffensive little club, owned by a quaint celebrity cook, in an ugly ramshackle little stadium -perennially unsuccessful yet quintessentially British in their yo-yoing failures - to a grotty, seedy and grim outfit. I admired their attempts, futile as they may have been, to be self-funding, and I'm a great fan of their celebrity director Sir Stephen Fry, but they really seem to have lost their moral compass recently. It can't really be said that they've swapped integrity for success either.

When the alternative is remaining in Norfolk, I disagree

What happened to Norwich City? on 13:07 - Feb 14 by Marshalls_Mullet | Clumsy tackle, but I've seen a lot worse. Nothing to get too excited about in my view. |
Late, straight through the back of the player, on his standing leg. Clumsy for a Sunday league player possibly. The irony is that he will get a shorter ban than Sainz did for spitting at someone. However, quite rightly, it will be longer than Cunha gets for stealing the security chap's glasses.
