Some more highlights of this game. Which shows we had a huge slice of luck.. 2-1 down & Bobby Gould scored (imo) a perfectly good goal (3:45) Then a couple of minutes later Robin Turner equalised.

Thems were men them days. Ironically no snowflakes. Some on'em were in short sleeves !
Arnold used to like thermal lined gloves and tracksuit bottoms on these occasions. But then he was never known as a runner. Standing on his right leg and spraying the ball around with his left was where he was at.

That semi final v baggies at Highbury is one of my abiding memories of watching Ipswich Town!! what a day!!
I saw the Bristol Rovers replay, the Millwall Wild West show, Highbury West Brom and the final.
The best single moment of following the club was Wark’s 3-1 goal. What a moment that was. Berserk.
My dad drove us to the game and we parked in the streets about 15 minutes walk away from Highbury. My mum had supplied bacon sandwiches, banana, club biscuits, crisps and a flask of tea for lunch in the car and we were good to go.
Early in the ground to get a good spot behind the goal in line with the right hand goal post, the opera singer, watching the crowd build, terrace getting tighter and tighter. What an afternoon.
Took an age to get home, not least because Spurs were at home but we didn’t care a jot.
How times change!
