If he spends all week coaching this lot so well, why does he need to be instructing them during the game?
From what I can see, they overcomplicate to justify their role. The one they chipped to the back post from the right hand side against us (rather than shoot) was laughable!

Austin McPhee is very highly rated and now the assistant manager of Portugal too.
He's originally from near me now and he's often very highly spoken about and did well at Hearts and Scotland too.
Set piece coach all cobbl*rs in my view Jesus if you can't work things out on the training field people say Arsenal corners it's hardly rocket science. Same as AI look at us with the keeper I knew in the friendlies how that was going to work out blokes 26 not 17 Burnley thought they won the lottery Just get the scouts out on a wet cold Tuesday night and watch games not look at data all the time.

Mark Hudson is fairly vocal on the sidelines for us at certain time and before he joined us Rene Gilmartin would often be bellowing instructions. As long as it's agreed between the coaches/manager who has responsibility for communicating what, then I'm not sure it really matters.
It does allow some of the coaches to focus on specific things while the manager is looking at the bigger picture.

Maybe we can ask him to stop and we might score from one lol.
We've got the 2nd best defensive record for set piece goals conceded and while it would be good if we could score a few more Liverpool, Fulham, Southampton and Leicester have all scored fewer set piece goals than us.

How many have we scored out of interest.
BTW defensively we've been sound on that front. Greaves and oshea and delap really help with that too
