Not sure where the clamour for Davis as a forward player has come from on here. It's not gonna happen! He doesn't have the trickery or pace to play there. His game is about finding space out on the wing from an overload on that side, not beating players or skinning them. |  | | |

His game is whipping crosses in for assists and his weaker part of his game is his defending so it does make sense. | | | |

His game is whipping crosses in for assists and his weaker part of his game is his defending so it does make sense. |
But if he plays further up he will have to make space for himself, he doesn't have to do that in the position he plays at the minute as he is the overload and not usually tracked by the opposition defence. Making the room to get those crosses in really isn't in his game. Just being able to whip crosses in isn't enough on its own. | | | |
