I don’t think it will happen. … I expect Leicester will beat us still because that’s the Ipswich way but… Should Manchester City be deducted points and relegated for cheating, while we played by the rules, then that’s entirely fair. Why should we lose out because others cheated?

It’s worth noting that we didn’t win the league last season because the EFL didn’t have the backbone to deduct points from Leicester. We played by the rules and had to settle for second.

Yeah I hear ya… that said, I think I’d feel more sorry for Liverpool as they should have had the glory of those titles. (And I hate Liverpool!)

Wouldn't bother me in the slightest. We as a club have had some sh!te luck in the last few decades. City going down in our place would help balance that out a little.

We’re pretty charitable in that regard. Helped out Southampton, Spurs and Manure now! Wolves and Leicester are due our charity too!

They are dreadful. That's what a team that actually doesn't have any fight looks like.

Not a fan of Steve Cooper, but they made a huge mistake in ditching him. Seem to recall it was a combination of him not meeting the owner’s expectation of points at that stage and the fans hating the style of football. Can’t imagine Van Nistelroy’s efforts have ticked any boxes subsequently. I reckon they’re crazy enough to do a Leeds and have another twist. £2.5m to Allardyce or Warnock if they can perform the miracle? [Post edited 27 Feb 2025 21:29]

| Sometimes I giggle about the frothing lunatic who’s put me on ignore and now has to constantly log out to see what I’ve said. Beneath that counterfeit persona lurks the same pitifully desperate egomaniac. | | Poll: | September 2025. Which one? |

Sacking Cooper was bizarre, they were doing just fine under him and looking like they might make a fight of this season.
