Had a savoury pancake in Paris off one of those little stalls - we’d run out of money. It was ok and quite filling. Never bothered since which I guess backs up your point.

As an alternative, a pancake with a little sugar and a big tablespoon of Cointreau or Grand Marnier on it is a good thing. A few of those: happiness guaranteed!
