It wasn't really not finding a job though. He was 34-35 and was working his way up. He was essentially joint assistant manager at the biggest club in the country and arguably the world which was a fantastic achievement at that age.
I think I recall himself saying his plan was to take a manager role at 35 and not before and he did. | |
