I can see why the ref gave a ref. I suppose it's by the letter of the law. Although I've lost track of what the law is this week.

Definite red for me, studs straight to shin and although it looked light contact, if the French bloke hadn't been light on his feet and got his weight off that leg, it could have been nasty.

Never a red but put a ref in a position where he has to make a decision like that and you can’t complain.

I’m 24 but watching that tonight gave me hope I can still make it for the 21s
