Is it rife in football?
Has anyone tried it?

Interesting article on a possibly worrying trend:

Snus, vaping and smoking are all highly addictive and while we know smoking is catastrophically bad for your health, I think vaping and snus will be the same in a few years time. Todays vapers are the Guinee pigs to prove just how bad vaping is to lungs. The sensible thing to do is to avoid at all costs any product that contains nicotine, as once you are on it stopping is very difficult.

The original snus (tobacco) was common among British footballers long before it was generally available. It's said that Neil Lennon was the one who spread it to England, having started on it when he played with Johan Mjällby at Celtic and then taken it to Forest. Swedish players have used it for decades, going way back to the days of 'loose snus', i.e. before it started to come in little sachets and was just wadded together in the palm of the hand.

It's going to be extremely difficult to separate out the effects of vaping on lung health from the long term effects of COVID.

Although the generations who have lived through the most serious lung health epidemic since the Tuberculosis outbreaks, or Spanish Flu, should be taking extra care about what they put into their respiratory system!

Absolutely not a scientist, but how hard can it possibly be to separate out effects of vaping Vs long term effects of COVID. Surely if something is caused by vaping it would only show up in vapers? If something was caused by COVID it would show up in every one?
