How the pigeon nearly headed the ball in from the Arsenal shot. Would the semi automatic offside have called it offside? Apart from that...a pretty dull game.

Wasn’t there a bird of some variety that got killed/stunned in an international cricket game once?
On the Essex cricket commentary today, Don Topley was saying that the Oval has always been the ground where pigeons interfere the most and that in the 80s Essex always used to turn up there with half a digestive in their pockets and sprinkle crumbs near the square when Surrey were batting.

Apparently it didn't work at Lords. They were snaffled up by Mike Gatting.

No offside for third-party interference. Disallow goal and drop ball to the last team that touched the ball at the point at which they touched it. If it’s inside the penalty area then drop ball to the defending goalkeeper.
