Yes we threw away another 2-0 lead, but what a shift from the boys. We’re playing for absolutely nothing at this point, and yet we still have players chucking themselves in front of shots, fans singing loud and proud as always.
It’s given me a lot of confidence for next season that the boys aren’t putting their heads down and waiting for it to be over. We know we have got a squad who really care about this football club and I’m super proud of them.

Yes, another very good result, if frustrating again in a "what could have been" way – we look nothing like a relegation team for long spells of most games and it really is the level of the league that has hurt us more than anything. Seen a few things levelled at our players in the past week but effort and willing have never been an issue. And we have a fair amount of quality too. We will always be competitive as long as McKenna is in charge so bring on next season. | |
