Not usually into zombie type things but last of us is superb. You very rarely see fights with hordes of actual infected which is what I expected it to be. Just great story telling. | |

Agreed. I hate sci fi but loved Last of Us season 1.

I would have liked watching the tv series cold like my other half. Having played the games and knowing what was coming in most cases it took jeopardy out of it although it was still very, very good and probably not something that would have watched without playing the games.
Will be interesting to see how the reaction to the 2nd series is after the reaction to the 2nd game.
Love both of the games, with the 1st one my favourite without getting into details. |  | | |

I fell in love with the games first - both of them masterpieces, the first time I've felt that about any game (not that I am a hardcore gamer or anything - 'aint nobody got time fo dat!).
As such I can't help judging the TV series unfavourably at times in comparison, including some key casting choices, but it is still really well done, and the character/story building is as gripping as the action, unlike say Walking Dead which just put me to sleep after about three seasons. But when it's being made by the creator of Chernobyl, that's the standard you get. | |
