Pitch condition. 13:08 - Apr 20 with 579 views | SuffolkPunchFC | Near the end of the season and the pitch looks almost as good as it did against Liverpool for the opening game. The Groundstaff have done an amazing job.

Pitch condition. on 13:14 - Apr 20 with 516 views | Joey_Joe_Joe_Junior | It’s a good job that project was completed on our promotion to the championship. Imagine trying to do that with everything else going this off season.

LOL, your maths sucks It’s 3% artificial grass for the drainage.

Pitch condition. on 13:36 - Apr 20 by urbanpenguin | Not sure that's true. We used the GrassMax System which is around 20million synthetic fibres injected into the pitch, basically faux grass that real grass grows around and amongst, and the company literature suggests it's about 50:50 for fibre grass and grown grass. (edit: 20 million per pitch, not 20,000) [Post edited 20 Apr 13:40]

Reported May 2023 Work to improve Ipswich Town's pitch following the team's promotion from League One has been captured in drone footage. Aerial pictures show the new reinforced hybrid pitch, featuring 3% artificial grass, being laid at Portman Road, which aims to improve drainage. New undersoil heating is also being installed for the 2023-24 season back in the Championship.

Yes it’s expected, but not the case for many.

OK - I am going based on the company literature and their description of the work at Ipswich.

Yes, I see the discrepancy. It was reported as 3% by a number of sources at the time. Maybe they were wrong. Or maybe not all pitches have the same ratio?
