I can, somewhat hilariously, remember an away trip to Swindon one midweek in Lyall's first season. Approaching services on the M25 I think, some young uns on the Galloway I was on noticed a coach load of Nodge pulling into the same services, presumably they were off to Southampton or somewhere. Throat slitting signals, w**** signs a plenty coming from both coaches.
When the coaches parked up, everyone filed off neatly and quietly not batting an eyelid at each other. As the coaches pulled away, the hand gestures started again. Some real special specimens used to go on those coaches. [Post edited 23 Apr 15:23]
