Saka is their key man and they are in the CL semis. If we were about to go into the play offs and one of our top players got that kind of challenge we would be annoyed as well.

Lewis-Skelly was fouled three times in that half.

Looks like they are struggling without him. He is clearly a big miss. Will he be fit to play again this season?
No idea what you're getting at. I didn't say he was injured.
Perhaps the overreaction of their fans to a late challenge on his heel as if it were the rake down the back of the calf it has been described as (it wasn't and hence why he was fit to play on).

If one of our players received that challenge TWTD would have been outraged and this is generally one of the more sensible Town sites. Twitter and Facebook would have gone nuclear.

I think I would have understood why the ref booked him and been bemused and delighted for VAR to have upgraded it to a red card but perhaps I am seeing it through blue-tinted glasses. As I admitted on the thread on the day, no neutral seems to dispute that it was a red card offence. I do still think Saka made a right meal of it, though.

You’re not suggesting our fans might be a little myopic as well, surely!
Lewis-Skelly has been very good tonight. Don’t see Arsenal scoring though.

Saka did almost the exact same thing to Dara O'Shea (although accidentally) after having a shot in the same game by the way
