And it's somehow a whole year to the day since our promotion parade through the town. That was a great day. |
And in a way, even being of an age to have seen the other great events on this date, last years weekend was one of the happiest of my life, from the game and evening on the Saturday, to riding my scooter down to the ground for some pics before going on the felixstowe vintage run, just riding round Colchester road, Heath Road seeing the flags and shirts, shouting Blue Army at passers by who would wave and shout back, to felixstowe, which was a sea of town shirts, (including Sheepy and Mrs!), to the parade. it was like the area was in some sort of snow globe of euphoria! |  |
