Where is VAR for a clear dangerous overhead! 16:32 - May 10 with 910 viewstonybied

Not saying I agree that it should be a straight red but every single challenge we make in the box seems to have been looked at by VAR today, but a clearly dangerous challenge? Na mate, as you were!

Surely should've been looked at by VAR as dangerous play though!

How is it dangerous exactly?
The ball is there to be taken (as an overhead) and greaves goes to challenge. It’s not dangerous

Er...an overhead kick in the vicinity of another player's head which doesn't connect with the ball but does connect with the opposition players head is not dangerous? Okay then!

When he’s lining up the overhead kick his head isn’t near the ball.
As they both SHOULD do, they challenge for the ball.
One to defend, one to attack.
It’s not a red card offence. Or dangerous.

I did say in the OP that I didn't think it was a red card! My point was considering someone got kicked in the head in a standing position, you would expect that VAR would at least take a 2nd look at it. Especially, when they seemed to check each and every challenge we seemed to make in our box!

No chance, ball was there and Greaves head wasn’t really at head height was it. Thought it was a bit of a harsh booking for if anything. Especially as he couldn’t even see the defender!
