Last time at Carrow Road there were so many uninterested people in the Town section that a Budgie friend of mine said that he had never known away fans so quiet. Does not sound like us I thought and looked into it.
It seems that ITFC had a policy of rewarding it's staff with away tickets of their choice. These take priority from ordinary supporters who go to away games. While I have no problems with that in principle, the last time in the Champs it seems they all plumped for the Norwich game for obvious reasons. I hear talk of West Ham supporters being there, with their other halves.
I agree with a system to encourage non playing staff to take an interest in the club's activities. All very laudable.
BUT NOT THAT GAME.
Carrow Road should be for true Blues only. Those who have done the hard miles to Bournemouth, Everton and Newcastle. Yes and Southampton, Stoke and Sunderland. They deserve it. I have no axe to grind because I do not have the points.
We are forever being told how much our support is valued and it helps the players. But it was abandoned last time when it was needed most in Norfolk.
I appreciate that to KMcK it is just another game, but to the rest of us it is not.
There is much, much more than 3 points at stake.

Not talking in riddles, it's just that you're a little over a year late in picking up on this.
It would help if we had a half-way competent supporters' club that could try to hold the club to account on issues such as this (and, for example, charging full price for severely restricted views), but chance would be a fine thing there... | |

Spoke about it at the time. At length.
Now getting in early before ITFC make plans for next year and make promises we would not want them to make.
Is there nobody on here who wants to go next season ?

That was an awful day
There was fighting on the way to the ground when Town fans were attacked by scum fans which resulted in Town fans defending themselves and rightly so
Unfortunately however some of those Town fans have now be banned home and away for 5 Years | | | |
