I am not sure that figure for Jewell is correct.
24 games at 0.94 points per game works out at around 22 points, but Derby only got 11 points that season, and the one win was before Jewell took over from Billy Davies.

The whole thing is wrong I think. If they’re talking about Derby’s PPG, it works out as 0.29 points (11/38). Jewell’s PPG equates to 0.2 points (5/24).

Certainly not obvious from the Tweet, and statistically a bit unfair to compare a short period with a longer period. After all, if Amorin stays and United return to more a more normal level, his points per game ratio will overtake Jewell's. [Post edited 17 May 9:54]

Talk-sport’s wording in this tweet is very much a manipulation of a stat that is a relevant number but across a much bigger period than the Derby stint alone.
Jewell has managed 138 PL games across 3 clubs & won 34 (102 pts) and drew 28 (28 pts) which is 130 points, and generates the 0.94 PPG.This info is all on the PL website.
It is, however, a shocking stat for a Man United manager. They’ve overextended on the headline, but it’s terrible for a Man United manager to be even close to Jewell’s number. [Post edited 17 May 14:07]
