VAR is literally useless 17:10 - May 17 with 3300 views

Handball outside the area, can’t intervene because they don’t think it’s a red
Defender plays balls in penalty area, can’t intervene because it’s not a big enough mistake

So both decisions stay with the on field decision.

Just bin it.

That's not how it works. They still flag now for offside. VAR would have had to overturn it. The only time they don't flag is a delayed flag if not sure but they still put the flag even in those scenarios if their belief is it was offside.

Except that when they arent quite sure, they now dont flag, because they know var will sort it.
