I hope McKenna moves on 16:31 - May 18 with 4204 viewsottovonbismark

because we desperately need a new approach, this just can't be allowed to go on and on. Yes we had great times but everyone knows we have no spine, no backbone. We're a soft touch, and I'm convinced we will be as long as KM stays.

I know this won't be a popular opinion but it needs to be said.

You're welcome to your opinion and welcome to share it.

Neither mean you are right.

Think he is a decent coach but not sure what we do in training because looks like our players have never played together.

Mind-blowingly bad post.

There’s not popular and then there’s laughable. People need to get a grip.

I don't quite agree as the two previous seasons have gave him credit in the bank. But this summer regards transfers we need to hit the ground running and if comes Christmas and we are struggling he won't get the January window only time will tell. We have very ambitious owners.

He definitely needs to prove himself again, as he hasn't shown that he has the nous to turn the ship around when things are going in the wrong direction. The season has totally unraveled since December.

That said if you think he needs to go then you need to give your head a wobble!

Well the OP has certainly brought the McKennaphiles out.

I was there when McKenna's ITFC won in the Premier League at Home. Fewest home wins and equal most home defeats in a season in ITFC history.

What is his one trick then please? Winning promotion twice or getting relegated once?

We need a new midfield, not a new Manager.

Whilst I concur with the majority that to get rid of McKenna would be foolhardy there definitely needs to be a bit of head scratching between MA and KM and our recruitment and also how we set up.
It may be fine playing open and attacking football in the Championship but the Premier League is a different animal entirely as we have found out to our detriment.
Next season won't be a walk in the park, there are bound to be a couple of teams that raise their game along with Leicester and Saints. It's all very well pundits coming out of the woodwork proclaiming Town will be the best of the three relegated, but we haven't exactly proved that against them and certainly a half a dozen players will need sourcing for next season.

How can I raise a welfare check on this poor gentleman? He seems somewhat confused.

I said at start of season he'd earn the right to bring us back up due to his past promotions BUT if he doesn't start well next season he's in trouble.

Of course he may choose to leave of his own accord my bigger concern would be who would we get next?

I can’t believe Ipswich fans would want to see McKenna go. He is a quality manager and will be hard to replace.
