because we desperately need a new approach, this just can't be allowed to go on and on. Yes we had great times but everyone knows we have no spine, no backbone. We're a soft touch, and I'm convinced we will be as long as KM stays.

I know this won't be a popular opinion but it needs to be said.

Interesting looking at the OP's history. Before a couple of doom threads this season, last started one in January 2020.

So you saw the OP in all its ridiculousness, and thought you’d try and outdo it?

Give over, you great fanny.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I got a six week ban on Facebook for saying that.

Got a lifetime ban on here for calling someone a massive bender too.

Certainly think we should give him next season. But he won't be inundated with offers this summer which is a reflection on the past season.

Other managers have looked quality and then fallen off a theoretical cliff. Could be him.

Tactically that's exactly what he's presenting himself is. Does he have another way of setting up the team? That's "one trick", whether you and others on here like it or not!

We have changed styles and systems multiple times this season and during games. That he doesn't come out and lay that system out to you in terms you can understand isn't on him it's on you. You think we played the same set up today as we did against say Arsenal away?

It's not "whether you and others on here like it or not" and this isn't an opinion you are holding. You are just flat out demonstrably wrong.

Poll: Who do we think McKenna (not you) will partner Greaves with ?

Very comfortable promotion from League 1 ✅
Unbelievable promotion from Championship, probably way ahead of schedule for the squad ✅

Squad sadly slightly out of depth, as were the the other 2 promoted squads, & the 3 promoted clubs that went down last year…. & like clockwork, the vocal minority want rid of the Manager.

Short memories

I’ve never received a ‘lifetime ban’ for homophobic abuse- so it’s somewhat less shocking…

He definitely needs to prove himself again, as he hasn't shown that he has the nous to turn the ship around when things are going in the wrong direction. The season has totally unraveled since December.

That said if you think he needs to go then you need to give your head a wobble!

Isn’t that what he did when he first arrived? I don’t remember exactly but we were treading water from a points per game, admittedly at a different level in L1. It’s certain a reset this summer is very important given what we have become this season, a very big turnaround is needed to be anything like ready to go +2ppg from Aug.

I see we are back to systems. Irrespective of systems our players this season needed to be better at keeping and playing the football in key areas of the pitch and certainly our attacking players needed to be better at finding ways to create and shoot the football into the goal. It’s not worth overcomplicating beyond that!

You are the reincarnation of Johan Cruyff and I claim my £5.

Cruyff of course - along with Ajax and the entire Dutch football community was wedded to one system and pretty successful with it.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

I am also quite wedded to systems but too many use it as an over simplistic reason as to why everything is wrong. I loved our asymmetrical system for a year or two. I also wonder what might have been this season without all the injuries to key players in key positions.
