When or if he goes we need a quality replacement. Where are we going with this abroad or British. Personally I would like it sorted early. Any other views striker wise and who may be of interest.

We are going to Millwall.

To ask them if we can have Mihailo Ivanovic.

Personally I think IF we can keep him fit, Hirst is more than capable to be the main number 9, and we just need an equivalent as backup.

I still think Delap was signed to be a winger but became unplayable at the start of the season when Hirst was dropped, and we carried on from there.

The problem is Hirst's injury record isn't great but I agree if he's fit he'll do well for us.

I really don't see that Delap was signed to be a winger though, he was always going to be the main striker. The £30m relegation clause still irks me, especially when you see Cunha's buyout clause is north of £60m!

I'd be keen on osula from newcastle on loan. Problem is loans are unlikely to be sorted early.

If he goes to Newcastle how about an exchange deal in part for Callum Wilson? Think he would do great in the Championship.

Wolves got him a new contract recently to boost up his fee!

Pretty sure both Phil and SomethingBlue have said he was always signed as a striker.

They also haven't got relegated and Cunha has played far more top flight football performing consistently well over 2 Premier League seasons.

We have struggled to find players for that role and it isn't going to be easy again. At least we have some money to throw at it. I would hope we look at Conway and get someone none of us has mentioned along the lines of Ioanidis/Broja through the door. By that I mean they hadn't been mentioned in advance of our interest in them coming to light.
