I was reading all the threads on here about various things ie man utd, Delap, etc etc. About certain clubs been basket cases. Thank god we ended up with the owners we did who seem to be in for the long haul with a vision on and off the pitch.
Radcliffe did nothing at Nice why man utd fans or the media thought this would go well I'm not sure they are cutting staff like a certain Mr Evans did here.
Although the manager is the focal point lives and dies by results the layers underneath are what makes a club run and move forward.

I think it was Red tinted glasses with Radcliffe being a fan that lead to delusion. Thats and the (understandable) hatred for the Glazers meant anyone but would be welcomed with open arms. Love seeing it, having spent my whole childhood watching Utd win pretty much everything and so many kids suddenly being Utd fans what I see now gives immense schadenfreude

Manchester United also need to accept and recognise the level they are currently at. Their sense of entitlement is a huge part of the problem here.

Same goes for Spurs. Last night papers over a few cracks but if it wasn’t for the huge gulf between the championship and PL, both would and probably should be relegated.

It was a suitably poor game between those two last night. Embarrassing for the rest of Europe that that trash made it when they didn't.

Has anyone ever looked at their own postings for last day or so? Oh my... so sorry. Was Ullaa

How Radcliffe grew his businesses god only knows. He’s overseeing a clusterf*** at Utd and the above comparison to Evans is very apt (somebody else who seems clueless but has inexplicably ‘made it’).

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Man U were awful last night , no passion ( apart from Maguire to be fair ) , they played as if they didn't care .

They need to look at the recruitment process at the club , big money signings with big egos don't guarantee the right attitude . No team spirit or passion last night .

A skipper more interested in cheating and complaining to the ref , than trying to play football and the manager still playing a number 9 that has been hopeless all season

Same as a lot of major entrepreneurs, very good at persuading people to lend him money with significant risk. That allows them to buy companies, pick apart the best bits and sell on.

Doesn't really work with football clubs, which only really have one core division (with success or failure frequently coming down to near-random chance) and are generally massive money pits. Cycling and sailing are much smaller sports, thus less expensive in absolute terms, without the same huge fanbase pressure.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?
