Quite pleased he scored our last goal of the season. I know he doesn't have the numbers (two goals, zero assists?) but I actually think he's been consistently good when he's played, which hasn't been often enough through a combination of injuries and some slightly strange selections.

We'd be nuts to get rid of him.

I hope we keep him. He may not have the highest market value or be the best player but my god he’s such a tidy and enjoyable player to watch.

Must be less about whether we're happy to keep him and more about whether he's happy with his time on the pitch. He did some great stuff today.

I was really pleased for him too. Such a lovely footballer to watch. I really hope we keep hold of him. I was hoping today might be a sign he will be a big part of our championship team again.

Whoever he plays for next season will get promoted.

I hope it is us.

Thought it was a typical performance from him - showed some silky moments and took up good positions but slow/poor decision making almost every time until the goal which was a really positive bit of play.

Drifts out of the game far too much for me and is a spare part off the ball. Still, certainly good for goals at the level below so no reason to get rid unless he wants a move as can't see him getting much game time when the other options are fit.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Today I think it less about him drifting out of the game and more about the other players not good enough to find him in space.
I counted 5 times in that second half when he moved into space and a midfielder simply turned round and played the ball back to a defender. To be fair I think a lot of that is re a lack of confidence, but they should be able to see Broadhead in space and play a pass to him.

There are some people on this forum who big him up way too much. He's a good player but he's not the world beater people make him out to be.

I think if everyone is fit, he wouldn't get in the team. He's not consistently good.

He's technically the best footballer at the club. He has weaknesses - he can see l drift in games, defensively not always great although he's improved this, and he can sometimes make wrong final decision but he's a very, very good footballer. There's a reason he was at Everton..

He's a starter more often than not in the championship.

Which players are consistently good?

I hear that a lot from fans but none of our players have been consistently good this season.

He’s one of the few that drives at goal - something we’ve really missed this season, two much passing it around the penalty area giving the oppo time to get everyone back.

A joy to watch when he’s on it, if (and it’s a fairly big if) he stays fit he’ll be a real asset next season.
