Just saw a Town fan on X moaning that the Delap transfer has gone on too long. The season finished, what, about 48 hours ago?

Are they?
I’ve not foot in any camp here, but what makes them flukey?

The number of relegation bullets they have doged. The fact that they have been run appallingly for 20 odd years and never really got what they deserved

Can't the deal be agreed and signed before the window - he just can't be registered by them until it opens?

I believe if all parties wanted it they could get a pre contract deal in place and flip registration once the window opens. This might happen but there may be reasons on either of the three sides for not doing this ahead of the window opening.

I have always wanted to see a players contract. But incredibly none have ever made there way in to the public domain. I always wondered if Arsenal's Freddie Ljunberg had a 'cant go into space' clause in his contract as history suggests he might. How amusing to see some of the oddities that some may have in.

I think you have the wrong Swede and that it was Stefan Schwarz.
