Tickets on sale today. Sydney already sold it out it seems.

Poll: This new lockdown poll - what you reckon?

Had thought about, but the cost was enormous, even with lots of friends & family over there. Australia is not a cheap destination like it used to be. The travel is expensive, plus it's so hyped & we'll probably get hammered as well. The grounds apart from Adelaide are soulless concrete bowls with no character! I went to a lot of the Ashes over here including all five days at Lords, that was amazing. Could do many other exciting trips using that cost, so decided against it. Going to South Africa for a month instead!

There's a handful of SCG Day 2,3 and 4 tickets currently for sale (restricted view) if you are quick.

Wasn't the last Ashes down under during Covid times?

This may explain the large early uptake.

I did the Sydney test in 06-07, had I waited a series I may have had a better time of it.

Did pencil it in this year but for similar reasons and a few heavy costs in my life of late we’ve decided to go another time.

Currently planning the far cheaper Sri Lanka white ball tour next January as a fortnight holiday.

I’m going to Adelaide and Melbourne. Tickets secured in the presale. Can’t wait - could be an epic series

Yes, that was a real let down of a series. Aussies were seriously looking for revenge.

WB Junior also doing Adelaide and Melbourne, going with the Barmy Army.

Hellishly expensive but it's his gap year so a great opportunity for him.

I'm off to the alternative Ashes - the eagerly awaited clash between Chedburgh and Wickhambrook, being played on Depden Green. Umpire is Floella Benjamin.
