Yes, though this way there’s a route for Cam Humphreys to play twenty games against the weaker sides… if it’s Cajuste plus someone more robust (like Sheaf or Downes) with Morsy and Humphreys (plus A N Other) on the bench/rotating then I’d be pretty confident in the midfield.


I think we need to be looking to replace Morsy as we look to the future but I very much like the idea of rotating someone like Cajuste with Humphreys. I am confident that an on-form, confident Humphreys could step up if needed were the Cajuste option to break down too.

So..... many reports about talks between Ipswich and Napoli and the player - but what does Cajuste want? Any idea if he's keen to stay with us?

Not sure about all this. Can see he has top level pedigree, but how many games can we get out of him in a 46 game season? Think he's more suited to be a PL squad player rather than a Championship starter. It's a grind and I'm not sure he'll last the distance.


I think that Cajuste does like it here and is keen to stay with us.
