‘The seat move window for Ipswich Town season ticket holders who have renewed for 2025/26 is now open.
Any supporters wishing to move seats for the coming season are advised that the only way to begin the process of a seat move is via the dedicated seatmove@itfc.co.uk email address, with staff in the Club shop, Planet Blue, unable to process moves.
If a supporter is unable to email, Planet Blue may pass on any move requests to the Ticket Office on behalf of a supporter, however, will not process the move.
Those wishing to move seats are asked to include as much information as possible in their initial email to the above address, including a correct supporter ID and full details of the requested seat move.
Any requests regarding moves for groups of multiple supporters, outside of a family group, will need authorisation. This can include all necessary parties being copied into the initial email.
Following our strong renewal campaign availability continues to be limited but the Ticket Office will assist where possible.
Please note that any changes to the away supporter areas are still to be confirmed. This area will not be available to move into, resulting in these areas only being available for match-to-match sales.
The Ticket Office will manage all seat moves in date order from when they are received, with all requests needing to be received by 5pm on Monday, 30 June to be processed prior to commencing the fulfilment of season cards before the 2025/26 season begins.’ |  | | |

My guess it’s that’s a purposeful move, to try and limit demand for moves. They’ll get feeer people going on to “just have a look” at the map and then end up wanting to move
I’m intrigued as to what order they’ll process requests in. Assume it has to be first come first served? Unless there’s some sort of AI tool they can plug all of the requests into? |  | | |

Does this mean the seat blockers in the lower north who are just plastic fans can now be frog marched to the ticket office with a blue flare held to their head?
They can then be moved elsewhere in the ground to sit amongst the rest of the day trippers, part time fans and boring people?
I’m guessing the real true fans can then stake their claim on the seats they want and build a blue padded plinth for their almighty Capo to stir the cauldron like atmosphere. | | | |

Having been moved to accommodate the increased away fan allocation I was assured I would get first dibs on moving back to my seat which was on the edge of the row, bank on the halfway line.
