As you all descend on EdwardStone’s rather splendid gathering, I’ll be flooding the dry dock in Zhoushan, China. After a rather fun (not) period in the yard, we have spent the last 6 days on the blocks.
There’s been all sorts of stuff going on, and I am tired.
I will try to video call and say hello.
Some grog is winging its way to his humble abode, and I hope you all enjoy your weekend.
As for me, I’ve a week left before I fly home.

Apologies for my lack of chat when I called this morning. Yesterday was an 18 hour day, flooding the dry dock, with all the stress of “will we float?”, plus a bunch of repairs finishing, hull painting inspections, testing the bottom plugs, equipment and machinery tests.
We are double banked, with CMA CGM Figaro, and have some final repairs, painting, and preparing for going back into service.
I would say I’m hoping for an easier day today, but I’ve got quite a lot on.
