Having my front tyres changed today and, given the somewhat uneven wear, I'm pretty sure that the alignment/tracking is going to need looking at.
Having always declined this in the past, should I just get the firm that does the tyres to do it at the same time? Or will I get a better deal by going away and booking elsewhere? |  |

I’d just get it done at the same time. It keeps your tyres in tip top condition and better efficiency. Also depends on when it was last done. By the sounds of it not for a while, if ever. Go on, treat the vehicle to what is essentially a massage. |  | | |

Uneven tyre wear could be caused by alignment/tracking although invariably its caused by speed around corners. Slowing down a little before entering corners can give you as much as an extra 2000 miles on tyre wear.
