Not much is getting out this summer regarding genuine transfer interests. Last summer, most of the links came from national sources. I suspect there are fewer leaks now because we’re back in the EFL. I’m sure a few ITKs have dropped some breadcrumbs, but fair play — very little is leaking out. | |

Not much is getting out this summer regarding genuine transfer interests. Last summer, most of the links came from national sources. I suspect there are fewer leaks now because we’re back in the EFL. I’m sure a few ITKs have dropped some breadcrumbs, but fair play — very little is leaking out. |
While a little boring as I'd like some ITFC related news to get excited about, have to say the club do seem to do a very good job of battening the hatches on transfer dealings.
There might be a case to say that the big journos are probably more ITK about stuff than local press these days too, considering most of our leaks last summer first came from Fabrizio, Crook, Ornstein et al. I would imagine a lot more of their stuff comes from agents and intermediares than the clubs, hence why the local press don't have a great deal to report at the minute. |  | | |

Because most of the media are only interested in PL teams. I'm guessing last season sections of that media wanted to be the first with the transfer news, which probably meant some brown envelopes were exchanged.

But if we are in the market shopping for PL players like Longstaff, if anything was happening the big journos would report it as they would report on PL outgoings as opposed to being too interested in what Ipswich are doing. | | | |
