It’s a straight loan for them, but I think it was reported we were thinking about a purchase or an option to buy (I may have that wrong). Maybe we were just exploring options or maybe we wanted something more permanent and City weren’t so keen.
But yeah, if it was a straight shootout, that’s a bit disappointing. The attraction of Stoke (you’ll rarely see those words together!) is geography as well of course. And there’s more likelihood of him being a regular starter there. | |

Being a regular starter will be one of the problems for us. Someone like Mubama is never going be a regular starter for us and at this stsge in his career he really needs to be at a team where he will start 80% of games. |  | | |
