ITFC old shirt prices 09:45 - Jul 10 with 1115 views | redrickstuhaart | I am shortly moving and in the process of identifying and removing clutter and stuff that I have hung onto but, realistically, haven't actually used in any way for years. I have a stack of old shirts. Most will probably never fit well again. Even if they did, I am not likely to wear them. Looking on ebay there are some crazy prices being asked but I strongly suspect that most are just chancers putting a high price on something, rather than figures that will realistically be achieved. What is the realistic ball park for older shirts? Surely they dont really go for hundreds?

Was surprised when they took my offer of £50 and then wondered if I'd overpaid. So, might not be worth quite as much as they're advertised at. That said, have a friend who does good business on eBay and her advice was you should never auction things, set a Buy it Now that you think is a good price and be patient, it'll usually go eventually.

Having got them out it seems sad to let any go. Equally, they have not been worn for years are are most unlikely to be worn any time soon and take up a whole shelf in the wardrobe. I have 93-95 red fisons 94-95 blue fisons 96 Humbug Abbot ale 97 Greene King with horsey sleeves 01 TXU energi blue- long and short sleeved 02 maroon and dark blue away shirt 03 Blue powergen 04 orange powergen 06 Black e-on Unfortunately, I seem to have lost some classics along the way- I think my original 92 shirt, 95 away shirt, and original 99 home shirt all were ruined when stored in a damp garage after a temporary house move. Not sure what happened to my old french style red stripe across the chest one

1993-1997 ones are worth a good chunk - but you may have to hang around with them a bit to find the right buyer 2001-02 ones will prob be in that £30-40 range if wanting to shift quickly, may tad a bit more if hanging on to them 2003-06 ones are not going to get a lot, but if you are willing to wait and they are in good sizes (Large or bigger) and in good nick then they'll push up towards the £30-40 mark

Thank you folks for the replies. Clearly more of a market than I realised, having received several dms. I will reply to them in order of receipt for fairness! [Post edited 10 Jul 14:39]
