No regrets on the gravel bike, best decision I made, especially considering you can run lower PSI for better grip etc
I kept tubes on my roadbike but tend to use slime tyres to reduce punctures from thorns and flint. A few extra grammes of weight but nowhere near as much as I carry around my waist, and worth it for the puncture free rides. |  | | |

Have you checked your rim? Some aren’t up to the job apparently (although things may have moved on). And I think you can get videos online that show you what to do if you’re not sure. So a, er, friend told me.
I’ve got tubeless rims on at least one of my bikes but never got around to doing it for some reason. |  |

Yes, my rims are tubeless ready and taped (thanks for carrying on the innuendo nicely  ) and I've had some Panaracer Gravelkings waiting to go on for a while, but I wanted to get as much as possible out of the old Nanos before ditching them, as is my wont, but the number of punctures I'm picking up recently (perhaps as the back tyre is quite well worn) is a real pita. I suppose I could try some tube sealant, but I'm hot to trot on tubeless now. | |
