I'd rather they signed Ronald McDonald than that p***k.

A) He’s another of those non-scoring strikers we seem to love signing.

B) He’s a bellend.

Leading to the conclusion

C) We would have signed him in the Marcus Evans era

A) is not accurate and he's proven goalscorer at this level.

B) is completely accurate and this is why I don't want him!!!

He was very good at this level once. I’ve no idea what his record in the Championship has been like recently. He is a bit of a KM type; willing runner and ability to press, can bring players into the game. I could believe there was something to a rumour like this from a football side.

I’ll be generous and say he’s a bit of a ‘lad’, so would be surprised if we go for him.

One very good season getting on for ten years ago and a a 'Lisbie' season in 22/23 is not 'proven at this level'.

Would have been 100% on brand for a Jewell signing

No, sorry that's just either disingenuous or just plainly getting it wrong (possibly because he's such an absolute tool it'a clouding things - almost understandably). 24 goal championship season was 6 seasons back ('getting on 10 years is really pushing that!) and 15 goal season last time in champ is not a Kevin Lisbie season. It was an excellent season in that Hirst role. Season before last scored 6 in 21 in prem for a very poor Sheffield United team. Last season he scored a few in La Liga for another struggler.

I don't want us anywhere near him but it won't be for his footballing ability. If he wasn't a total moron it would make a lot of sense. Unfortunately he is a complete wrong un.
