Ivan Azoz - interesting one this. 14:33 - Aug 1 with 1233 viewshomer_123

Has many attributes that suit our style:

Generally a target/ focal point for teams build an attack from, 5ft 11 but very strong/ stocky build. Fantastic work rate, notably off the ball. Seems adept at bringing others into the game and has a half-decent return in terms of conversion/ goal rate.

For me, the positives:

- Good physical attributes and work-rate for pressing.
- Good in the air, which ensures we have options on how we can use his ability.
- A good finisher.

However, some development areas for him though:

- Championship is a significant step up physically from where he's been playing (given he's had almost no Serie A game time), might be a challenge initially
- Technically, he could be better with the ball at his feet, whilst he brings others into play - I worry that he'll struggle if too isolated
- Whilst not a bad thing, in that he really is an out and our striker, he can't really play anywhere else. A bit like Hirst. Delap could play wider. As I say, not really an issue but we can't really deploy him in another position.

He ticks many boxes, physical, hard working modern striker - which is what we need. 22yrs old, no idea if a loan with option but if it is then he is, again, one we can develop.

A very interesting potential signing this one.

He's effectively a much cheaper version of Fotis Ioannidis.

Well, that is a slightly more succinct way of putting it!

Carlos Corberan trying to sign him at Valencia means he'll be a physical monster who can run and press all day

As I say 5ft 11 and about as wide Joe - he can run all day. Only concern is that we won't have quite come across the physicality of Champ but I'm sure he'll adjust.

Let’s hope we’ve got an option if this goes ahead as it sounds like he’s someone that KM could really improve
