Fortuna refused to sign player over their Palestinian beliefs 19:00 - Aug 5 with 1179 viewsBlacknGoldnBlue

German soccer club, Fortuna Düsseldorf, announced it would not sign Shon Weissman, a soccer player who has served in the IOF and has shared publicly that he wants Gaza wiped.

He posted on X: “What’s the logical reason that 200-ton bombs haven’t been dropped on Gaza yet?“

In another post, when responding to a photo of two detained Palestinian men, he wrote: “Why the hell aren’t they being shot in the head?”

Weissman’s agent later said the now-deleted posts and likes were not made by the player himself but by a social media manager who had access to his accounts......

So he pays someone to post on social media on his behalf.

I assume you mean the IDF not the International Orienteering Federation?

Either way, can't really blame Fortuna for that can you?

Aside from the abhorrence of his views, I feel like someone should take the time to explain to him just why 200 tonne bombs havent been dropped by anything on anyone. Physics obviously came second to marching practice at his school.
