I imagine, if true, there may be some work to at least have him stay until January. Even with Cajuste joining we may still be looking to sign a CM; same with Akpom and up front and potentially replacing Hutchinson as well. Then there's the injury to Townsend and whether we may want to bring in a left back (Philogene doesn't sound quite so bad). We're relatively settled in terms of centre back options so probably don't want to spend time on it unless we really have to.
