I’m not sure who needs to hear this…. 09:36 - Aug 8 with 3552 views | Matt_Netherlands | … but there’s a real chance that we lose tonight. (To be fair I think it’s mainly the Twitter lot who need to hear that.) If that were to happen can we please agree no bed wetting, no meltdowns and no over reactions? It’s a 46 game season. It’s Birmingham’s cup final. We still have some business to complete. Yeah it’s disappointing and not ideal if we lose or draw… but it’s not the end of the world. Before the down votes come in this isn’t a “pre-flounce” it’s just trying to keep some people. That all said, I predict a gritty 1-0 Town win.
I’m not sure who needs to hear this…. on 13:08 - Aug 8 with 217 views | ringwoodblue | I agree with what you say but we had the same last season where everyone played down our initial defeats because it was a tough start against Liverpool and Citeh like Brum and Saints this year. Problem is if/when we don’t beat the teams we should’ve beaten, that’s when the bed whetting really starts and I guess if we lose to Bromley or Preston, I’m sure it will be a meltdown on here. I’m expecting a very tough game tonight and would’ve much preferred a Preston, Stoke or Hull to get us off to a solid start.

I’m not sure who needs to hear this…. on 13:42 - Aug 8 with 161 views | Bent_double | I remember the first game of the season 2 years ago, away to Sunderland. I was just listening on the radio, the Sunderland faithful were extremely loud and raucous, maybe it was the commentry team or just my nerves, but everytime Sunderland attacked I was convinced they would score, and we were going to get well beaten. But, as we know, that didn't happen - a great win to kick-off an incredible season - so maybe the same again tonight...
