I would generally take anything that isn’t a direct quote with a pinch of salt to be honest. What will be will be. If he ends up signing for us I’m sure he’ll be very happy to have done so.

I think all he said was he only wanted to go to Valencia. Haven't seen anything here yet to say it's broken down but definitely wouldn't surprise me.

I saw him play against Barça on Sunday evening. He played on the left and tended to drift to the centre, his natural position. Hardly touched the ball, Como were stuffed 5-0 but he held the ball up well a couple of times. He has a weird running style like he's running through mud.

Top scorer for Como in pre-season with 4 goals.

I wonder if the Akpom deal was a pivot from the breakdown with Azon.

He would get us to 4 loan players (only 5 allowed in the matchday squad) so possibly now becomes one we might be more hesitant to do.

I think he's also made it pretty clear he favours a return to spain.
