Jack Clarke - Heat Maps 08:00 - Aug 13 with 472 viewsFrimleyBlue

Does anything have access to the footy stat heat maps?

I wondered if you could post Jack Clarkes heat maps from his time at sunderland to his time at town.

This isn't a boo hiss thread, i just want to clarify my thoughts about us not using him correctly compared to his sunderland days, but i'd love to know if that's true or if it's a misconception.

You don't need heat maps to know he's being played more as an inside forward than a winger at Ipswich. At Sunderland, he was a genuine winger with chalk on his boots. So he had more space and time to cut in and torment full backs.

Fairly noticeably wider for Sunderland.

I found these quotes from KM interesting in Phil's Akpom article last night as it's something we are struggling with when it comes to JC.

"Usually with us, it’s more about trying to fit the strengths of the players into the team rather than pigeon-holing them into having to be this position or that.

“We know what Chuba’s good at and we’re going to try and get him into those situations as often as we can.”

Last night he was getting chalk on his boots with Davis going more inside.

He was still sh1t.

Yeah, I mean he's not showed enough even when he's come in from the touchline, you're right. It's a real head-scratcher, really. But he's just lost that air of arrogance and invincibility he had.

One wonders whether the move south has affected him? He didn't like it at Spurs either.
