The summer is turning into a mini Bomb squad, so few of the previous promotion campaign left. Leadership in the squad, team togetherness, shaking off that losing mentality/running toward adversity, learning our playing style and having the right movement. These are all going to be big challenges. We will now surely be in for 2 or 3 more quality players having brought in £45M yesterday, so probably players like Doak/Fellows/Hackney/Brownhill/Ruiz plus a new keeper will be incoming. We will have more individual quality than ever - but how long until they gel, and we see the team as greater than the sum of the parts? When it does gel we will be amazing, but McKenna is gonna really earn his crust to do that pronto. |  |

It’s so important we ‘keep in and around the top 6’ whilst these players get up to speed… don’t want to be in a position where we’ve lost 12/16 points on rivals playing catch up, because every dropped point then feels like the end of the world. |
