Aside from the bickering, it did start with Greaves way out of position and the space was there at the finish. Yes, others to blame, but Greaves has been with us a full season now and he still worries me. Davis too, obviously, still has defensive issues in his game. We have real problems in both positions. | | | |

So to confirm, its negative to pinpoint a key mistake but its ok to blame a number of different players simultaneously?
They're all completely out of position because of Greaves' stupid run in to the Southampton half and losing it. At that point O'Shea nearly lost it already in their half so he'salready further up the pitch. Greaves being out of position (on the edge of our box) pulls O'Shea over to cover Greaves' hole in the middle, Jack Taylor is out, pressing the winger and unable to track any runners in to the box. Fundamentally all caused by Greaves lack of game awareness, which has been evident on numerous occasions in the last year. | | | |
