Child 3 needs a new gaming PC. Any recommendations where to buy one?

Is there a good site where you can pick and choose components etc

I got a new one from Gladiator PC about 6 months ago, very happy with it and have not had any issues. Went with them as you can customise the PC's pick/upgrade each component.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Is this one of those cases where school says he only needs a basic laptop with MS Office to do homework with, but he tells you it “needs” to be a gaming PC 😆

Even so there can be quite a price difference between one that will play most games at 1080p and one that will play the most demanding at 4k on three separate screens

Gaming PCs seem to be £400, plus another £1000 for fairy lights.

Just computer bunting

Unfortunately, the GPU market has made it an increasingly expensive hobby.

For OP, I'd recommend PC Specialist.

As Baxter alluded to, probably best to find out what they want to play. Doing the latest games at 4k is going to be incredibly expensive.

A few years ago I used Stormforce - and they were very good. I actually needed a PC more for graphics & video editing, but generally gaming PCs need similar spec, and it seemed cheaper than buying a pc designed for graphics use.

I bought at PC Specialist end of last year. Customer support is excellent, so would also recommend. Machines will be much of a muchness between providers at the same price point I’d imagine as they’re all using the same or similar components.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?
