Congrats mate. As a new Dad myself, watching my parents become grandparents was a real joy.

Bet you can't wait to welcome a little Keiran (or a little Vanessa) into the world!

Congratulations and hope all goes well. First time grandfather myself a couple of years ago and can honestly say what a joy it is to see the world through young eyes again. Just a warning, seems to be very dusty when they’re around or just after they’ve left.

Better to stay silent and be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt

Working in the garden. 6 year old granddaughter runs up to me. She cried "Gans" and gave me a cuddle.
If you could bottle that moment you would make a fortune.
Congratulations.

Our 1st grandchild turned 8 last week
She wanted a rock n roll birthday, so there was inflatable guitars etc all over the place
Her mum & dad even bought her a real guitar
I have one but can't play it, but I learnt to play 'Happy Birthday' on it & sent her (mum) the video

But seeing she had a real one when we visited on the day, I played it 'live' for her, too!

We have 7 now - I've told both daughters to stop now, I can't keep up with the tattoos!

Personally. If I was to have my time again I would skip the kids and go straight for the grandkids. So much more time, so much more fun and then hand them back.
