“We know connections are not fully formed yet and we have to work on it. We have to work on it with the players who played today and with the new players coming in”

Maybe I’m reading into it too much, but it sounds like at least a couple of signings are done or close to it? Especially as all the new players played bar Kipre and Button.

We've got 1 week to go
Still need a striker
Still need a cm
Still need an am
Still need a lb

Imo Still need a gk

Lost our captain who wanted to stay.

Werhun has a lot to answer for

‘Lost our captain who wanted to stay’

If he wanted to stay he’d have honoured the contract he signed a year earlier.

After 10 games we will be in the play offs. After 20 we will be in automatics.

Some people seem determined to make a small issue (right now) into a mountain.

Small issues that I’m observing currently;

- team look like strangers
- we lack a new ST
- we lack another CM
- players are flogged in positions they look lost in
- in 3 league games we’ve had 2 shots on target
- we’ve had months to strengthen/be ready for August
- lost a core of the squad who made us us
- we let our captain walk away for nothing, some even calling it a good will gesture ffs
- we’ve just paid twelve million English pounds on a player that should have cost about £5/6m

If they are small issues, and I’m making a mountain out of those, then so be it
