We would take 3 points off Derby and buy Egeli and Hackney this weekend.
Unfortunately......

Derby no mugs. HH ship sailed early Aug. Egeli has to be hopeful as long as another top European team does not pip us but potentially not available until after international break.

Why isn’t he ready until after the int break? Surely we aren’t signing a player that needs a few weeks before being injury free/ready?

More chance of Brownhill than Hackney in my opinion.

You know the reason this happens. Takes them a couple of weeks to cope with McKenna's level of training.

2 out of 3 isn't bad.

I'm pretty sure that McAteer played on Saturday.

He did.

But if you see, I didn’t suggest on this thread that Norway wouldn’t, old Chelts did.

He had a full pre season with Leicester and had played in their league games before joining us. The only reason Cajuste & Akpom haven't is because they didn't really have a pre season.

Egeli (as far as I know) has and has been a regular feature at his current club. If he signs in the next 48 hours I would expect him on the bench on Saturday.

May be he is or would be on the bench, if he signs in time it’s 50/50 for me.

19, new country, big fee, never played English football, only arrives a day or so before match, possibly not even announced until after the match anyway. What’s the rush when you have international week within touching distance.
