Despite perceptions, Leif is incredibly robust. He started 43/46 last time and played 90 in 38/46. Same in League 1… 43/46 started.

If used as cover as left back then makes sense as a squad player. We were always going to sign a LB cover that wasn’t going to excite fans. Seems a solid option if he is versatile as Phil states. |  |

Totally agree on this, their coverage is awful these days, all very reactive and no doubt towing the line with the club. More interested in posting 'media scran' or 'snappy snaps' . Stu is the only one with any credibility. |  | | |

Would the better option not have been to sign a nailed on better right back, and have Young as Leif cover. Which is a far easier outlook to sell a player. | | | |
